COVID-19: Office Hours and Practice Updates

The COVID-19 pandemic has continued to bring evolving changes to our office. Please check our Facebook page for the most up-to-date information. Here are a few of the necessary changes we have made to continue to provide high quality care to your child and family.

  • New office hours for Monday through Friday- 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM

    • After hours triage is still available, after 05:00 PM when you call you will be connected to our answering service and they will be able to page the on-call provider

  • Weekend coverage and triage will be provided by one of our clinicians

  • There may be LIMITED triage support during the week as we work through the staffing shortage (there is a nationwide shortage of health care workers, encourage your children to consider a future career in healthcare!)

  • We will continue to see patients with scheduled physicals as long as they are fever-free and not exhibiting any symptoms of illness. We strongly recommend that all patients 2 years and under keep their scheduled well care appointments and remain up-to-date on their routine immunizations

    • All well child visits will be able to be seen safely in a separate designated area of our clinic

    • We ask that only one parent attend the visit

    • For newborn babies until 2 months of age we will allow 2 parents to come to the visit

  • For all sick visits we will schedule you in our “Sick Bay”

    • Only one parent will be allowed into sick visits, regardless of the patients age - this is important to keep both your family and our staff safe

    • We are able to do advanced molecular rapid testing with the ABOTT ID NOW in office for COVID-19, Influenza A & B, and Strep Throat

  • Due to decreased operating staff support, all MEDICATION REFILLS must be requested through your pharmacy. Any medication refill for Schedule II drugs (controlled substances) should be requested during our new weekday business hours

    • Please make sure you request your refill at least 3 business days before you are due to run out of your medication

We appreciate your continued patience as we work through the many changes COVID-19 has brought to our clinic. Our goal is always to keep your child safe and healthy. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your family.
